Angelo - Psyche

From the opening song, I can't imagine Angelo fans having anything to complain about on this release.  The addition of Karyu and Giru continue to expand on Angelo's sound. As much as I enjoyed Pierrot, D'espairsRay and Vidoll, I'm more than happy that this band exists with these members. There was something lacking for me when Angelo first started and now the group feels complete. Kirito's lyrical abilities combined with Karyu's compositions create memorable songs that had me listening from start to finish. I was rather disappointed that Crave to You wasn't included on the album. Instead, it was regulated to a b-side from the Scare single. It would have fit in well with the rest of the album's sound.

Ganglion - Infinity

This fledgling girl band has grown a lot since their first release. Oni's vocals are getting more polished with each release. It's a strong effort that makes me long for the days when Exist Trace only had a single vocalist.

Femme Fatale - Arcana

At a whopping 22 tracks (including instrumentals), Arcana is an ambitious effort from Kaya's new band. I found myself longing for Kaya's solo work by the time the sixth track rolled around. Often, the music seemed too loud for Kaya's vocals. Whether it was bad mixing or not, I like being able to hear my vocalists. Kaya should take a lesson from D's Asagi on how to ensure that his vocals are clear over the instruments. The track that stands out the most is Moon, a lullaby ballad where Kaya's voice is featured in it's full glory.
