VAMPS - Sex, Blood, Rock N' Roll
The interesting thing about this best of collection is that all the songs have been rerecorded in English. However, there were some songs where I had to turn the volume up to be able to make out that Hyde was singing in English at all. Overall, the album isn't bad. Rerecording the songs in English doesn't detract from their original impact. If you're a fan of VAMPS or Hyde's vocals, it would be a good addition to your collection. However, if you find his vocals lacking, don't bother. KAZ's guitar work isn't enough to draw you in if you don't enjoy the vocalist.

D=Out - Kanden 18 Go
The title track, Kanden 18 Go, fits D=out's playful flare. It's a catchy song that ended up stuck in my head for awhile afterward. I'm reminded of Dollis Marry's Mr. Romantic even though there aren't many distinct similarities. 捜索願い abandoned that playful feel for a more serious sound. The song is more of a mature sound for the group, but Kouki’s vocals retain some of that whimsical melody. 炎天歌 feels like a blend of the sounds from the two other tracks from this single. It’s a delicate balance that they pull off well, despite the slightly sped-up feel.

Angelo - Outbreak
The third single from Angelo after the addition of Karyu (ex. D’espairsRay) and Giru (ex. Vidoll) continues the bonded feel of the band. Most fans were skeptical about the two guitarists or otherwise biased toward them. Regardless of how those fans felt, the band has certainly integrated without losing any flare. Outbreak showcases the talents of each musician without any instrument overshadowing another. It’s a guitar-heavy song that suits the band quite well. Rebirth is easily my favorite from the single. It’s a bit less heavy than Outbreak, but equally melodic. Kirito’s vocals flow through this one reminding me of why I was originally a fan of his. I have high hopes for their album, Faith, when it’s released on November 27th, 2013.
