D - Rosenstrauss
The title track, Rosenstrauss, begins with just the piano and Asagi's voice. This doesn't last for long though as the band enters before 40 seconds have passed. The song then becomes what you'd expect from D. Asagi's vocals are accented by the work of the other musicians. 氷獄の魔獣 is a fairly decent track. Again, it's pretty much the usual for D. While it does well to showcase Asagi's vocals, I felt underwhelmed by it as a whole. Memento ~風のレイピア~ follows along in the same respect. It's not bad, per se. There's just something lacking. 紅の蝋涙 is probably my least favorite. The chanting parts just feel off to me. The rest of it is a pretty bland balladish sound. They were likely going for a choir sound, but it wasn't well realized. The instrumentals are nice to have, but nothing super special. I wasn't fond of ゲーム劇中曲 (「弾丸」ver.) or ゲーム劇中曲 (「Schwarzschild」ver.). They could have easily been left off without there being much of a difference.

Jupiter - Classical Element
This album was a difficult one for me to listen to. It's simply more of the same from Hizaki and co. If you were a fan of Hizaki Grace Project or Versailles, you're going to like this album. These could easily be a tracks from Versailles if you swapped out the vocalists. Zin has one superior trait to Kamijo. The new vocalist's pronunciation is clearer than his predecessor. Kudos to Hizaki for following Mana's example of hiring similar vocalists that fit the sound that has sold well for him.

Kamijo - Louis ~Enketsu no La Vie En Rose
Oh, Kamijo. He really doesn't know when to stop, does he? Louis ~Enketsu no La Vie En Rose is his new solo release. Fans of his previous bands will enjoy this single. Why? It's almost Lareine all over again. Louis ~Enketsu no La Vie En Rose has everything you'd expect from vampire inspired jrock with strings, guitars and choir sounds. Grazioso brings in a few different elements, but again they're not surprising of Kamijo. A music box introduction to the song combined with an gypsy circus sound makes this one stand out a little more than the title track. 幻想トリアノン is a fairly typical ballad in his usual style. If you're a fan, you're going to love it. If you're looking for Kamijo to branch out and try something new, skip this one and hope for the next.
